Minneapolis, MN / July 3, 2019 — CloudCover has joined Stanford School of Engineering’s Global Projects Center (GPC) Digital Cities Affiliate Program.
The program brings together cross-discipline expertise that include data analytics, institutional investment on urban sustainability, and exploration of how emerging technologies will change the way we think about business model development and enterprises engaged in digital cities. Engagement with corporate affiliates will ensure market connection, validation, and new ways of transforming disruption into competitive advantage are incorporated into faculty research.
CloudCover, as a corporate affiliate, is providing one of the core cybersecurity technologies within its CyberSafety Platform. As part of the affiliate program, CloudCover’s leaders will meet regularly with Stanford faculty and staff to discuss program updates and share insights or developments across industries, and CloudCover will become actively involved in several current research efforts underway within the program, including studies on embedded sensor security, advanced data analytics and cybersecurity mobility.
CloudCover CEO and founder, Stephen Cardot also points out that the collaboration with the affiliate program is an important component of the Company’s larger innovation and technology strategy. “This collaboration underscores CloudCover’s commitment to bringing cutting-edge technology and advance risk analytics to the cyber security industry,”
The relationship constitutes yet another critical technology relationship for CloudCover, which sees collaboration as a key component of its overall technology strategy. “Our investment in technology provides us with insights that help us to better service our clients on how to manage their cybersecurity,” said John Riordan, CloudCover’s Communication Relationship Manager. “The relationship enables us to interact with innovators across several disciplines and provides us front-row access to technology for commercial integration in the future.”
